WD launches metal clad My Passport Drives

WD My Passport Ultra Metal

With sale of more than 60 million My Passport drives in the past 10 years, WD has announced My Passport Ultra – Metal Edition and My Passport Ultra – Anniversary Edition drives. The new drives feature metal exteriors that incorporate a unique and innovative radial-spin-design aluminum enclosure. Furthermore, the drives come in capacities of up to 2TB, WD SmartWare Pro software support with Dropbox integration

My Passport Ultra – Anniversary Edition drive will sell in India in limited quantities by the end of September whereas the My Passport Ultra – Metal Edition 1TB drive will retail for Rs. 6,500 and 2TB for Rs. 11,000 with a regional 3-year limited warranty.
