Xbox One will launch in India on Sep 23 from Rs. 39,990

We knew that Microsoft will release the Xbox One in September in India and today they’ve confirmed the exact date and pricing of their new-generation gaming console. Starting September 23, the Xbox One will sell in India for Rs. 39,990 that will include a 500GB HDD, one Xbox One controller and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial for new members.

Microsoft will also sell a slightly expensive SKU at Rs. 45,990 with Kinect that will bring support for gesture controls, biometric sign-in, controller paring, Skype video calls, instant personalisation, instant scanning of QR codes and more.

The Xbox One features a 1.75GHz custom built-CPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, a Blu-ray drive, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n and software features like Game DVR/Upload, apps support, TV on Xbox One with HDMI-pass through etc.

Sony currently sells the PS4 in India at a similar price tag.
