Whatsapp is growing at an exponential rate and the latest milestone is a proof of that. The messenger service announced that they’ve surpassed 500m active monthly users with countries like Brazil, Mexico, Russia and India at the forefront. Whatsapp also confirmed India to have 48m active monthly users, making India the largest country to use Whatsapp service.
Whatsapp was recently bought by Facebook for $19 billion and even plans to add voice calling in the coming months.
