Following an announcement from Google, LG announced the first smartwatch to be support the Android Wear platform. LG is pretty tight lipped about the G Watch’s hardware and other details but confirmed to be compatible with majority of Android devices. LG expects to launch the G Watch sometime in Q2 2014.
Motorola also unveiled its Android Wear-enabled watch called the Moto 360. Unlike majority of smartwatches that adopt a rectangle or square dial, Moto 360’s uniqueness is the round dial with use of premium materials.
Motorola will release the Moto 360 in summer of this year.
