UPDATE: We’ve got the pricing and availability of the Nikon Df for the Indian market. The Nikon Df will be available in two colors, black and silver at an MRP of –

Nikon Df with AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G (Special Edition) kit: Rs.199,950/-
Nikon Df Body only: Rs.183,950/-
AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G (Special Edition) only: Rs.17,950/-

The camera will be available from December 2013 across India.

Nikon today revealed the Nikon Df FX-format DSLR. The camera is packed with features that Nikon’s D4 flagship possesses but pays homage to Nikon’s old F Series 35mm film cameras, complete with jog dials to control ISO, exposure compensation, release mode and exposure mode.

The Df is the lightest and smallest FX-format camera in Nikon’s camera lineup and features EXPEED 3 image processing engine, 16.2 megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor, ISO range from 100 to 12,800 and goes to a whopping 204,800.

The camera also enjoys wide range of Nikkor lenses like the AF, AF-S, DX and AF-D and has a 39-point AF system, 3D Matrix Metering, Scene Recognition System and 3.2-inch LCD with Glass Pentaprism viewfinder.

The Nikon Df will be available in late November 2013 in the US in classic silver and black colour schemes at a price of $2,749.95 for the body or with 50mm f/1.8 Special Edition lens kit for $2,999.95. The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens will be sold separately for $279.95.
