LG, Samsung, Sony, Vu are some of the TV manufacturers that have come up with their UHD TVs for the Indian market. While Sony is the only TV company to sell 65-inch and 55-inch models, rest of the lot sells only an 84-inch model, which frankly isn’t fit for most homes in India.
Joining Sony today is LG who’ve expanded their lineup of UHD TVs with a 55-inch and 65-inch sets. Both offer the same 4K resolution for ultimate viewing experience and are priced at Rs. 3,30,000 and Rs. 4,50,000 respectively.
LG says the TV can upscale regular content to “near-Ultra HD” picture quality and supports 3D FPR technology that does not require battery operated glasses. The TV also supports 2D to 3D conversion, WiDi, Miracast, Wi-Fi to quickly stream from other mobile devices and has a built-in camera for voice and video calls.
