Xolo A500S launched in India for Rs. 6,999

Lava’s sub-brand Xolo has announced a new phone for the Indian market. The Xolo A500S is priced at Rs. 6,999 and brings in decent hardware for the asking price. The 9mm thin device comes in a choice of four colours – black, blue, red and white and features Android 4.2 OS, 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM, 3G support.

Additionally, the phone has a 4-inch display, 5MP main camera and front-facing VGA camera, dual-SIM support, 1400mAh battery, 4GB internal memory with microSD card slot up to 32GB and Xolo Secure, an anti-theft app preloaded on the device.

The device will be available across regular and online retailers in the coming days.
