Well, Google took their time but here it is. The updated Gmail app for Android 4.1 has improved actionable Gmail notifications. From the notifications panel, user can now delete/archive or reply to the incoming email.
Apart from that, Google has also improved email search and is now faster and offers better search suggestions.
The free update is available now from the Google Play Store.
