Zync launches three Android 4.1 tablets under Rs. 14,000 in India

Quad 9.7

Zync revealed their intentions last month of releasing few affordable tablets last month and now they’ve delivered the first three running Android 4.1 OS, out of which two are powered by quad-core processors and one with a dual-core one.

Starting with the cheapest, The Dual 7.0 is priced at just Rs. 5,990 and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. Apart from that, you’d find a 7-inch WVGA multi-touch display, Wi-Fi, 2MP camera at the back and VGA at the front, microSD card slot and 3000mAh battery.

Moving up the ladder is the Quad 8.0 and it is understandably powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and features 8-inch 1024×768 display. This one too comes with Wi-Fi, a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 5400mAh battery. Its priced at Rs. 12,990.

Finally, it’s the Quad 9.7 – the star of today’s announcement. Not only is the tablet powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM, it comes with a 9.7-inch Super HD IPS Retina Display panel supporting a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. Rest of the features include 16GB of internal memory, 5MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot. It also has an 8000mAh battery and goes for just Rs. 13,990.

Interestingly, all the models exclude Bluetooth and GPS.
