Surface Windows 8 Pro releasing on Feb 9

Microsoft has announced the release date of its Surface Windows 8 Pro tablet. If you’ve got $899 to spare, you can pick up Microsoft’s tablet from February 9 in United States and Canada.

This version will be equipped with a full fledged Windows 8 OS giving the new modern UI as well as support for legacy Windows apps. It will also be powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, 64GB storage and will come with a Surface Pen.

Microsoft has also expanded its existing Surface Windows RT availability in more countries taking the total count to 21. New countries include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
