LG announces 100-inch Hecto Laser TV solution

Continuing LG’s slew of CES announcements, today’s announcement by LG features a 100-inch class cinematic Laser TV solution. LG dubs it as the Hecto Laser TV that comprises of a special screen and an ultra-short throw projector that will allow users to enjoy full HD 1080p resolution video content.

LG says the projector can be kept just 22-inches away from the screen and users can view content to up to 100-inches in size. Furthermore, the Laser TV features a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Smart TV platform, WiDi and Wi-Fi Direct whereas the projector is equipped with two 10W built-in speakers, 3 HDMIs, optical audio output and RS-232 interface support.

LG will showcase the solution at the CES 2013 early next month.
