The last few days of October are turning out to be really busy in the technology world. Apple will mark the start with a product announcement on October 23 followed by launch of Microsoft’s Windows 8 OS on October 26. However, October 29 will be the busiest of all with Microsoft launching its Windows Phone 8 platform and Google just confirming an Android-related event for the same day.
The invite does not reveal anything except the text that reads “The playground is open.” To make a wild guess we can expect Google to officially acknowledge Android 4.2 or even announce some new Nexus devices like the leaked LG Nexus device, a high-end 10-inch Nexus tablet or even an entry-level $99 Nexus tablet.
