Acer has confirmed the pricing and availability of its upcoming S7 series ultrabook. Touted as the world’s thinnest ultrabook, the device is .47 inches thin and weighs just over 1kg.
The Aspire S7 series will come in two screen sizes – 11.6-inches and 13.3-inch with touchscreen support and full HD 1920×1080 resolution. Furthermore, the S7 ultrabook boasts a unibody design, dual torque hinge on the lid, Windows 8 OS, TwinAir thermal cooling solution, third gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor options, SSD, micro HDMI and a 12 hour battery life.
The ultrabook will also come with Acer services like Theft Shield, Instant On, Always Connect and AcerCloud.
The Aspire S7 will be available from October 26 with a price starting from $1,199 for the 11.6-inch model and $1,399 for the 13.3-inch variant.
