Sony has expanded its Xperia series with the new Ion for the Indian market. The new Xperia device takes a dig at other high-end devices with its distinct look and specs. Priced at Rs. 36,999, Xperia Ion is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.6-inch scratch resistant 1280×720 display, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0 OS, 12.1MP camera with full HD video recording support, dedicated camera button, front-facing 720p camera, PlayStation certified, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, NFC and 1900mAh battery.
