Consumers with an HDTV that pre-dates the time with Smart TVs, LG has brought a nifty gadget known as Smart TV Upgrader. By hooking the SP820 Smart TV Upgrader to the HDTV via the HDMI connection, consumer can convert the normal HDTV into a Smart TV.
User will be able to use LG’s Magic Smart Remote functions as well as surf web browser, stream content via DLNA, play 3D content, App Store support and a lot more.
The SP820 will arrive in June in Korea for 199,000 won ($169).
