Evernote Peek brings Virtual Smart Covers for all iPads

Back in June, Evernote released their Peek app that worked in conjunction with the iPad 2’s Smart Cover. For the uninitiated, Evernote Peek is a unique app that allows users to peek under the iPad Smart Cover to reveal bits of text, which helps in learning and memorizing.

But Evernote understood the fact that not all own an iPad 2 and not all iPad 2 owners have a Smart Cover, which is why they’ve enhanced the app with the inclusion of swipeable Virtual Covers that can be used with any iPad. Although it works the same way as before, it adds a variety of Smart Cover colors, which wouldn’t be possible (or rather cost efficient) with physical set of Smart Covers.
