HTC announces Rhyme Android Phone for Women

HTC at an event in US today unveiled a new smartphone targeted at the fairer sex. HTC Rhyme will enamor the female crowd with a choice of attractive colors and accessories. On the features front, Android-running Rhyme is equipped HTC’s Sense UI, 1GHz processor, 3.7-inch display, 3G support, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording support, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA and 1600mAh battery.

HTC has also announced a number of accessories to complement the phone. For instance, a Rhyme Docking Station, Rhyme Charm, Sports Armband, Tangle Free headphones and couple more will be available at the launch.

HTC will launch the device through Verizon Wireless in United States whereas European and rest of the markets will get it in October. Docking Station, Charm and Tangle Free headphones will be bundled for US customers.
