Apple generally releases a developer beta during the weekdays but the new iOS 5 beta 5 was released over the weekend for devs. iOS 5 beta 5 is an over-the-air update which makes it easy to update but will delete all user content and settings. It’s safe to backup all data by syncing to iTunes or through iCloud. There are no major feature additions but a new Hearing Aid Mode has been found under Accessibility, multiple iCloud accounts support and loads of bugs fixes. The new iOS beta also comes with speech-recognition feature but doesn’t work at the moment.
