PlayStation Vita rumored for October release in UK

Sony had promised to release PlayStation Vita by end of this year and it looks like British consumers will get well ahead of the schedule. According to a leaked Blockbuster flyer, Sony’s upcoming handheld console is expected on October 28 in UK. Both 3G and Wi-Fi-only models are expected on the same day, apparently to cash in on the upcoming holiday season.

PS Vita will succeed Sony’s not-so-successful PSPgo with a 5-inch OLED display (960×544 pixels), rear-facing touchpad, dual cameras, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more.
