After a series of leaks, Verizon has finally made the Droid 3 official. The World phone (CDMA+GSM) is available for purchase from Verizon’s site with choices of on or off contract.
The third edition of Motorola’s Droid phone is feature packed with Android 2.3 onboard and comes with a dual-core 1GHz CPU, 4-inch qHD 960×540 display, a horizontal sliding 5-row QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 8MP autofocus camera with 1080p HD video capture, DLNA, 3.5mm headphone jack and 16GB internal memory.
Users can now buy the phone for $199.99 on a 2-year contract or at $460 for full retail.
