Samsung has a tough time keeping things under wraps. This time it’s the Galaxy Tab 8.9 that was supposed to go official at an event tomorrow. Unfortunately, we don’t have a pic of the tablet yet but these leaked pictures reveal some of features expected in the new tablet.

The 8.9-inch tablet will be one of the thinnest and lightest tablets around with a thickness of 8.6mm and weight of 470 grams. It will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and have a 1280×800 display and dual-band Wi-Fi antenna.

Another interesting addition is that the Honeycomb tablet will be laden with a customized UI and have something known as Live Panels and Mini Apps tray.

More details will be unveiled tomorrow.
