3G is here in India and those who want to take advantage of 3G’s faster data speeds to use with their Wi-Fi-enabled devices, Vodafone has launched R201 MiFi in India. MiFi, simply put, is a device with an integrated SIM slot that uses 3G connection and create a Wi-Fi hotspot to share with different devices.
In this case, R201 can share its 3G connection with five different Wi-Fi-enabled devices. R201 promises to give speeds up to 7.2Mbps and has a 1400mAh battery that gives up to 4 hours of usage. R201 also comes with an OLED display, 128MB of flash storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) that can be used to share content from the memory card to different connected devices.
Vodafone R201 is priced at Rs.5,500.
Not Bad for the price offered by Vodafone.. Not sure when it will be available in Gujarat circle.. 🙂
