SanDisk is expanding its memory card family with a high-speed SDHC memory card. The card hails from SanDisk’s Extreme Pro range and features Ultra High Speed (UHS) technology that promises speeds to up to 45MB/sec, which is one of the most sought requirements of photographers and DSLR users.
A high-speed card such as this allows users to capture HD photos in continuous burst shooting mode, HD video and even 3D content. SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC card is UHS-I compliant which means it gives a minimum write speed of 10MB/sec and read speeds going up to 45 MB/sec.
However, this card is not only about speed. On the reliability front, the card is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions and comes with a year of RescuePRO media recovery software in case anything goes wrong.
The card will come in capacities from 8GB to 32GB with price ranging from $109.99 to $349.99.
