Pantech brings Vega Xpress Android phone with DDR2 RAM

Pantech has announced a unique Android offering for KT and LG U+ customers in South Korea. The phone is known as Vega Xpress (IM-A710K/IMA720L) and features DDR2 memory, which is generally found in PCs. Use of DDR2 RAM makes the phone about 1.5 times faster than other smartphones ensuring smooth multimedia playback and internet browsing.

As for remaining specs, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4-inch touchscreen display (WVGA), Android 2.2 OS, Speed user interface, 5MP camera, 720p HD video recording and playback support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, DivX support, 3.5mm headphone jack, T-DMB and 1500mAh battery.
