LG Display creates LCD with world’s thinnest bezel

LG Display has unveiled a 37-inch LCD panel that is touted to have the world’s thinnest bezel. The advantage of having a slim bezel is that it can be clubbed with more displays to create a huge one, which is apt for marketers advertising on large digital information displays.

The width of the bezel on the left and right hand side is just 1.5mm and 2.5mm on the upper and lower side.

LG Display has created a 111-inch using 9 such screens and will be showcased at the FPD International 2010 next week.
