Modu, famous for their modular devices have teamed up with Micromax to release the modu T handset for Indian consumers. The handset will be co-branded and customized by Micromax and is touted as the world’s lightest 3.5G touch-enabled phone.
The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Brew OS and features a 2.2-inch touchscreen display, GPS, FM Radio, music player, social networking support and microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. Modu T modular design enables users to add extra functionality with the “fy” devices, which are nothing but add-ons.
The phone currently supports two fy devices – Sportfy that will make the phone track vital exercise information and camerafy allowing users to click pictures in 5MP resolution.
Modu T will be available from tomorrow with 2GB microSD card and fy devices.
