It’s not over 24 hours since Apple release iOS 4.1 and hackers have managed to jailbreak it. The exploit has been found in the bootrom, which is said to give low-level access to the Apple device and would be difficult for Apple to patch the hole.
The jailbreak is not yet out for public consumption but as you can see from the picture, it is confirmed to work on most iOS devices, including iPhone 4 and recently released iPod touch.
