Toshiba Folio 100 tablet gets official

iPad competitors are gaining traction as Toshiba has also jumped in the fray with its Folio 100. The Folio 100 is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 System-on-chip and runs Android 2.2 Froyo.

Expected to come in October, the Folio 100 features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display (1024×600), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3G, 16GB internal memory, 1.3MP webcam, HDMI/USB port and 7 hours of battery life.

The Wi-Fi only model will be available from October for GBP329 whereas the 3G model will sell from Q1 2011.
