Samsung has set Sep 2 as the official unveiling date for Galaxy Tab but Korea’s Digital Times have seem to steal their thunder by previewing it on video and also reveal its specs. We do know a few things about the tablet but the site confirms that the 7-inch screen will be an LCD one instead of AMOLED. Interestingly, the resolution is pegged at 800×480, which is different from what we’ve heard in the past.
Other than that, Galaxy Tab will feature Android 2.2, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, front-facing camera, HD video playback and memory expansion via SDHC card.
This tablet will be launched by SKT in South Korea.
