Mobile phone users in UK are in for a treat if Omio’s list is to be believed. It’s purportedly the 2010 roadmap for phones that will be released from major mobile manufacturers. According to the list, Blighty won’t see many exciting devices for few months but it’s the October, when the real fun will begin.
Two devices from HTC – Vision and Ace are expected in October. While we’ve seen Vision there are no deets whatsoever on Ace. Nokia’s N8 and Sony Ericsson’s Yendo and Xperia X8 will also be released in the same month.
Moving to November, three major phones are expected to make an entry, starting with the HTC Gold. Gold will supposedly be HTC’s first try at Windows Phone 7 platform and is said to pack all the goods to make you interested in Windows Phone platform again.
Next is Nokia E7, a messaging phone with QWERTY keyboard running Symbian^3. The description actually matches the device we know as an N8 variant.
Finally, it will be Samsung’s i8700 Cetus. Although there are no details about the device, Omio speculates that it could a bada device since its Cetus means “sea monster in Greek mythology”.
