Sony Billabong edition W Series netbook comes to US for $500

Sony’s Billabong limited edition W Series netbook is now available in the United States market. The netbook is the same we saw last time and will come in Imperial Lime color with splashes of black, lime green and blue colors. Moreover, Sony will participate in Billabong’s Design for Humanity event where they’ll auction off two of these netbooks and will donate the proceedings to Invisible Children foundation.

Specs-wise, the W Series netbook features a 10.1-inch LED backlit display, Windows 7 Starter OS, 250GB HDD and a 7 hour battery life.

The limited edition netbook can be pre-ordered from today for $500.
