Hold your horses! Acer has squashed the recent rumor surrounding a Chrome OS announcement. While they’re excited about the OS, they’ve confirmed that no Chrome OS netbook or prototype will be shown at the Computex or in “short-term”, which means we’ll have no luck of seeing it for few more weeks or couple of months before its ready for primetime.
Acer had earlier confirmed to bring the world’s first Chrome OS netbook and we’ll have to see if they can successfully do it. The rumored launch is in Q3 2010 around the official launch of Chrome OS.
