Lenovo has announced new L Series ThinkPads aimed at SMBs, government and education customers. The L412 (14-inch) and L512 (15-inch) ThinkPads offer high performance at an affordable price and with less impact on the environment. In fact, the L Series Thinkpad are the greenest notebooks in the market that uses up to 30 percent of post-consumer recycled content with packaging recycled up to a full 100 percent.
The laptops come in choices of Core i3 or i5 processors, 16:9 HD antiglare screen, integrated graphics or dedicated ATI Mobility graphics, up to 8GB RAM, up to 320GB HDD, Wi-Fi, optional WiMAX, WWAN, multitouch touchpad, up to 8 hours of battery life and multitude of I/O ports like USB, eSATA, DisplayPort etc.
Lenovo will start selling the notebooks in mid-May with price starting from $649.
