iPhone app developers generally come out only after they’ve been approved but here’s Opera whose issuing a release for submitting their Opera Mini application to the App Store. The approval is obviously on the mercy of Apple (which for now looks slim) but it seems Opera is trying to gain some media hype so that Apple would ultimately approve it.
Nonetheless, Opera received positive response for their first showcase of the browser at the MWC. The Opera Mini is up to six times faster than Safari, supports tabbed browsing, Opera Turbo compressing webpages by up to 90 percent, Speed dial and more.
