Sony debuts new in-car Xplod systems

Sony’s Xplod entertainment systems are quite popular in India and here they are with new devices suited to suffice user’s everyday entertainment needs. They’ve introduced couple of CD receivers as well as a multi-disc player supporting CD, VCD and DVDs. The CDX –GT595 UI & CDX-GT696 UI In-car CD receivers comes with a feature which Sony calls as One Wire Technology that allows a user to connect his iPod as well as charge it. There’s also an USB plug to connect USB flash drives and plays MP3, WMA and AAC files.

The MEX-DV1606U multi-disc player is the device to play all the multimedia files. It offers multi-channel playback from a single wire connection and supports MPEG4 and DivX files via the USB slot.

The products are priced from about Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 13,000/
