Sony Ericsson announces environmental-friendly Elm and Hazel

Sony Ericsson has unveiled two phones that boast the GreenHeart stamp, an initiative by SE to produce environment friendly devices. Joining in the line are Elm and Hazel that possess a curvy back, similar face but a different form factor – Elm is a regular candybar device while Hazel, a slider phone.

Not only do the phones look similar, they’ve identical features too – widgets of various social networking sites, 5MP camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, HD Voice ready supporting AMR-WB, Microsoft Exchange, FM Radio, A-GPS and microSD card slot.

The Elm will be available in Q1 2010 in Metal Black and Pearly Rose colors whereas Hazel will start retailing in Q2 2010 in Superior Black and Passionate Rouge hues.
