USB portable HDDs are available aplenty but A-DATA’s latest offering has something that distinguishes it from the lot. The 2.5-inch A-DATA SH93 is one of the few drives to boast waterproof as well as shock resisting capabilities. It can work efficiently even after being submerged in water up to 3.3 feet for up to 30 minutes and complies with the MIL-810F standard for shock resistance.
The SH93 comes in capacities of 250/320/500/640GB, support for HDDtoGO software and promises a data transfer rate of about 30Mbps. A-DATA is yet to confirm the price.
