Asus has announced its first ever range of multimedia speakers targeted at notebook users that tries to kill two birds with one stone. First and foremost, give quality audio output and secondly, it is designed in such a way that it doubles up as a laptop dock.
The uBoom and uBoom Q speakers support USB 2.0 connectivity, are said to be 50 percent compact than conventional 2.1 speakers and boasts high-quality audio with the help of its maze-like reflex port. Since uBoom Q is the light in features, Asus has also enabled it to power via USB, eliminating the need to use an adapter. No word on the pricing or availability yet.
