French e-tailer lists S-Series Walkmans then takes it down

The last time we saw S-Series Walkman players, we didn’t have much details except the evident loudspeakers on the side and the love for Mickey Mouse. But now, thanks to a French e-tailer (listing taken down), we’ve got more details of the next promising Walkman device.

The 8GB Sony NWZ-S544 and 16GB Sony NWZ-S545 will feature a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD with 16:9 aspect ratio (320×240 resolution), FM Radio, iTunes/Windows Media Player support, voice recording and an integrated kickstand. The codec support is not that great but it supports MP3/WMA/AAC for music and H.264/AVC/MP4/WMV for videos.

The players promise a 42 hours audio playback and about 6.5 hours of video on a single charge.
