Sanyo has unveiled a portable solar charger that can prove handy when your gadget is running out of power with no sight of a power outlet. The Eneloop Portable Solar comes in options of single or twin solar panel that captures sunrays into its small booster that houses a Li-ion battery and helps to charge mobile phones, digital camera, music players via the included USB port. Sanyo says the booster needs about 3 days to completely charge via a single panel capturing or half the time with twin panels. Likewise, the booster can also be charged via a computer’s USB port, which will take around 7 hours to get it full.
The single panel and twin panel solar charger will start retailing in Japan from August 10 for 9,000 Yen and 14,000 Yen respectively.
