Palm webOS root image leaked, interesting possibilities in the offing

It’s not even a week before Pre went on sale and users have unearthed the webOS root image, which was found in Palm’s webOS Reset Doctor tool. For now, this does not mean much to you and me but developers have already started tinkering with the image that could reveal the whole new facet of the webOS by the way of customized webOS ROMs, unlocking few features etc.

Also to note is the reference found of Palm’s another webOS enabled device, Eos that goes by the name of Pixie and Castle.
