WWAN based Eee PC 1003HAG comes to Japan

Asus’ yet another Eee PC will soon make its way into the Japanese market. The WWAN equipped 1003HAG variant supports NTT DoCoMo’s 3G FOMA service which allows a downlink transmission of 7.2Mbps and uplink up to 384kbps. If FOMA is not your thing then there’s Wi-Fi b/g/n and Ethernet to handle your internet needs. The rest of the netbook specs are customary – 10.1-inch WSVGA LCD, Atom N280 processor, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth 2.1, Windows XP etc.

The netbook will start selling from May 16 at a price of 69,800 Yen ($727 / Rs. 36,752).
