AMD has launched its first GPU based on 40nm manufacturing process. The energy efficient HD 4770 ATI Radeon card is Windows 7 ready and boasts the same 4000 Series GPU features but at a very convincing price tag. Anticipated at around $99, the card has GDDR5 memory, support for DirectX 10.1, CrossFireX technology, HDMI and DisplayPort ports, Unified Video Decoder (UVD 2.0) for smooth HD video playback and compatible with 7.1 surround sound.
