Here’s a repetition of the Yahoo-Microsoft saga. Samsung officially announced their withdrawal of the hostile bid to buy SanDisk for the earlier price of $26 per share in cash. Samsung is obviously unhappy because the deal not going through and also more millions of dollars will be spent by them in the form of royalties to SanDisk.
SanDisk’s share price has hit a 5-year low mark after the announcement.
