Opera is a very good browser. It may have lacked in market share for PC but in the mobile arena, it rules the roost. To gain a stronger foothold, Opera has launched its latest version, 9.5 currently in beta for Windows Mobile (Symbian users have to wait a bit). Downloading is free for now but don’t try it if you can’t handle a few bugs because of its unstable nature.
Known Issues:
ActiveX is disabled -> Flash plugins and embedded video streaming do not work.
Custom IME’s (like HTC’s IME) will be buggy at best, not working at worst.
Not multilingual build — Only English is supported. Problems with other languages (and input methods) is not unexpected.
Installation on memory cards may cause problems.
Text wraps in overview mode.
Fails on ACID2 test
