Unusual things really amaze us. And Benjamin Gulak has claimed to do just that. The 18-year old guy from Canada has created gyroscope based UnoMoto which is more stylish and cool than the Segway family. The idea of creating such a vehicle came after his visit to China in 2006 and with the help of John Cosentini from Motorcycle Enhancements, he created this masterpiece. As you can see, the outer frame is taken from Yamaha R1 and the max speed UnoMoto can clock is 25mph.
Riding the UnoMoto is very simple. The on/off switch is the only electronic control, and once it’s up and balancing, you simply lean forward to accelerate, lean back to brake, and lean sideways to get one wheel turning a little faster than the other, which effectively steers the contraption. Gulak says its battery range is around 2.5 hours in normal use. When you switch it off, it rests back on its footpegs.
