Sony Ericsson was not alone to go on a phone launching spree. Joining them was the Finnish giant which launched a number of phones at MWC yesterday. Phones launched by them were N96, N78, 6210 Navigator and 6220 Classic. Beginning with N96, it is clearly a successor of N95 which ups the ante in terms of storage to 16GB. This time they have targeted this towards the crowd who love to watch videos on the move. That is why it comes with DVB-H for live TV viewing pleasure, playback of MPEG-4 files and a Video Center consisting content from YouTube, Reuters and many more. It shares the same 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens as it was in N95.
There’s dedicated music controls on the face of the phone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and other standard features. It will retails at 550 Euros before taxes.
Next up is another N-Series phone, N78. This time its core competency is the music capabilities like its direct music button, a nice loudspeaker and its 8GB memory. It also has got geotagging, Nokia Internet Radio and a FM transmitter enabling you play the songs on a device with the same radio frequency. Music aside, it has WLAN, HSDPA 3.2 megapixel Carl Zeiss and will cost 350 Euros before taxes.
Moving down the ladder comes 6210 Navigator which has GPS and an integrated compass making the user to reach his destination comfortably even on foot. 6210 runs on S60 with 3.2 megapixel, music player and FM radio on board. Priced at 300 Euros.
The last phone to be unveiled is the 6220 Classic which concentrates on people interested in taking pictures on the phone. The phone boasts a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens with Xenon flash and supports uploading them to different photo sharing sites like Flickr or Ovi. It has also got a handy TV-out feature which when connected can display pics on a larger screen. Apart from that, it is GPS equipped, integrated music player, FM Radio and up to 8GB of memory. Will hit the shelves at 325 Euros.
