HCL MiLeap Laptops

Laptops have become cheap and if you still do not own one, well here’s the chance. HCL revealed MiLeap Leaptops range of laptops which consists of two variants, X and Y. The MiLeap X Series Leaptops start from Rs. 13990 ($356) and feature a 900MHz Intel processor, 512MB RAM, 7” screen and Wi-Fi. HCL has also taken care that the Leaptops are dust, shock-proof and durable. Linux will be installed OS in the X Series.


The Y Series Leaptops on the other hand is a compact touchscreen notebook powered by Intel’s Ultra Mobile Platform processor and will have Windows Vista Home Premium as the bundled OS. Specifications include 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1.3MP camera. Pricing for this series starts from Rs. 29,990 ($763).

MiLeap starts shipping from 26 of this month which is also the Indian Republic Day.
