The oft-rumoured BlackBerry Z30 has finally gone official. The Z30 is the biggest and the fastest BlackBerry that comes with the new BlackBerry OS 10.2. While we’ll talk about the software in a moment, the phone boasts respectable hardware with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display and a 1.7GHz quad-core processor. The BlackBerry Z30 also features a new antenna technology – BlackBerry Paratek Antenna that promises better connectivity in low signal areas, stereo audio, BlackBerry Natural Sound and 2880mAh battery that claims a battery life of up to 25 hours.
Speaking of new features in the 10.2 OS, the OS now comes with improved BlackBerry Hub with the BlackBerry Priority Hub that learns what conversations and what people are important to the user and makes it easier to find them. BlackBerry has also improved the BBM experience that allows to get a preview of any message as it arrives and even reply to it instantly without leaving the current app.
BlackBerry has not revealed the price but will go on sale in UK and Middle East from next week. BlackBerry OS 10.2 will be available to existing BB10 devices like the Z10, Q10 and the Q5 from mid-October.
