BlackBerry unveils Q5 phone, will release in July

BlackBerry Q5

In addition to announcing the BlackBerry 10.1 update, BlackBerry also revealed the Q5 smartphone aimed at emerging markets. This will be the third BlackBerry phone to run the BlackBerry 10 OS and will be priced moderately so as to enable more users to try out the new BB platform.

The phone will be available in variety of colour options and will bring in the ubiquitous BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, BBM video with screen share, BlackBerry Hub and lots more.

BlackBerry Q5 will be available selected markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia (including the Asia Pacific region) and Latin America from July.
